2019 Le Petit Riesling

Our 2019 ‘Le Petit’ Riesling is our wine for all occasions. A youthful wine with aromas of fresh cut grapefruit and mandarin. On the palate, bright flavors of white peach and lime are persistent and intense. Drink now but can age for up to 5 years.

This wine is comprised of a blend of Seneca Riesling grapes from Lahoma Vineyard on the western side and Lamaroux Landing and Atwater Vineyards on the eastern side of the lake in a region famously referred to as The Banana Belt. This is due to warmer winter temperatures and cooler summer temperatures, a phenomenon linked to the vineyards’ proximity to Seneca Lake’s deepest waters.  Grapes from this area tend to demonstrate stone fruit aromatics and lower acid.

Crushed, destemmed, and cold-soaked 72 hours before pressing. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. Vegan.
