2019 Vignoles, Turkey Run
Turkey Run Vineyard is our most eastern site, sitting highest on the hill overlooking Keuka Lake and is planted on sandy and gravelly glacial soils. The vineyard is named after our feathered friends who took the first harvest for themselves. Vignoles is an aromatic white grape developed in France that produces clean, crisp, and fuirt-forward wines. This food-friendly wine is balanced dry, with natural acidity on the finish.
Limited production: 151 cases.

Tasting notes
"There is teeth-rattling acidity on the finish here, but this does have enough sugar and concentration to prevent it from being impossibly shrill. You won't think of the sugar, as the acidity makes this perceptibly dry, but it does perform the useful function of creating balance. I rather loved the balance here, not to mention the silky texture. In warm weather, this will be a wonderfully refreshing drink that wakes everyone up. It seems rather elegant as well as very fresh. It is well done, and it is poised to age well." - Mark Squires, Wine Advocate
