There are seven mature estate Riesling vineyards at KLV – Goldman, Evergreen Lek, Falling Man, Ernesto Lucie, 20 Rows, Upper & Lower Eastside. Every spring, the winemaking team blind tastes all of the Riesling lots to determine which vineyards will be bottled under their own label. Once the team determines the vineyard bottlings, trials on the remaining vineyard lots are assembled and tasted to determine the final blends for our Dry and Semi-Dry Rieslings. At harvest, our 100% estate-grown Riesling is handpicked, de-stemmed and gently pressed.
We ferment in stainless steel at very low temperatures for 10-12 weeks. Aged on fine lees for 10 months and naturally cold stabilized. Vegan friendly. Bracing, with slate, thistle, pippin apple and lime pith notes that extend through the bone dry finish.
