2024 KLV Cabernet Franc

Tasting Notes:

This wine is a classic Cabernet Franc with a touch of green pepper and pretty earthy notes. It is deep, rich with bursts of ripe red fruits. Soft, elegant tannins give way to a long finish with subtle background notes of tobacco and earth. Fruit sourced from Ravines Wine Cellars & Sheldrake Point Winery. 

Vinification:

This wine is a blend of KLV and Ravines vineyard grapes, which were vinified separately and combined after barrel aging. The fruit from each lot was destemmed, inoculated, and fermented to dryness in bins before being pressed to tank to settle overnight. The wine was then transferred to barrel for nine months of aging prior to the final blend.
