A lovely fruit-forward flavor balanced with some minerality characteristic of Finger Lakes’ Rieslings. This wine pairs beautifully with a range of foods or can be enjoyed in a glass on a summer afternoon.

Hand harvested. The 20 Rows Vineyard is our largest estate site, at just over four acres, and is located on the east side of Keuka Lake. It was planted in 2004 to our usual 5’ spacing between vines and 9’ between rows, with an additional 9 rows added in 2010. Made of mostly clay sediment with dense glacial till, the soils are moderately well-drained as they slope downwards toward the lake. It has a gentle slope with good airflow.

Year after year the fruit coming from this vineyard stands out with quite a unique and distinct flavor profile. “Lek” is not a misspelled body of water but rather the Nepali word for a high ridge, an apt name for such a steep vineyard.

The 2020 growing and harvest season were truly remarkable, a standout year for the region and specifically for Keuka Lake Vineyards. Clusters of fruit arrived at the press virtually disease free and in pristine condition. The resulting wine boasts ripeness that remains bright and fresh, with notes of green apple, melon, and pear skin. A light twinge of lime pith on the finish gives this some tension, with subtle notes of jasmine on the finish.

There are seven mature estate Riesling vineyards at KLV – Goldman, Evergreen Lek, Falling Man, Ernesto Lucie, 20 Rows, Upper & Lower Eastside. Every spring, the winemaking team blind tastes all of the Riesling lots to determine which vineyards will be bottled under their own label. Once the team determines the vineyard bottlings, trials on the remaining vineyard lots are assembled and tasted to determine the final blends for our Dry and Semi-Dry Rieslings. Our 100% estate-grown Riesling was hand-harvested, de-stemmed and gently pressed. We fermented in stainless steel at very low temperatures for 9-10 weeks. Aged on fine lees for 10 months and naturally cold stabilized. Vegan friendly.

Situated along the steep western slopes of Keuka Lake, the Evergreen Lek vineyard is one of our oldest Riesling sites. The vineyard was planted in 1999, pushing up against a strand of evergreen trees on its northern edge. The soil is highly eroded and consists of large amounts of slate and glacial deposits.

This is KLV's third Sauvignon Blanc, all from the Young Block Vineyard of Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards on the east side of Seneca Lake. It is delightfully soft and expressive, with some peachy characteristics with a bit of chalky minerality. 

The Twenty Rows vineyard is our largest Riesling vineyard, at just over four acres, and is located on the eastern hills overlooking Keuka Lake. It was planted in 2004 to our usual 5’ spacing between vines and 9’ between rows, with an additional shorter nine rows added in 2010. Made of mostly gravel and dense glacial till, the soils are well-drained as they slope downwards toward the lake. It has a gentle slope with good airflow and produces year in and year out pristine fruit.

This elegant Seyval Blanc was hand harvested in early September from our newest estate vineyard owned by Carrie and Marko Radivoyevitch. This vineyard is an old 8-acre block that overlooks KLV's Eastside vineyard. After fermentation, the wine was aged in four neutral oak barrels, resulting in a round, dry, fruity and expressive food-friendly wine. 

Our first vintage of Seyval Blanc, hand harvested from our Eastside Vineyards. This is an off-dry wine with quaffable characteristics - perfect for picnics, parties and movie night! Pairs wonderfully with Thai or Indian cuisine with a kick of heat.

Our first vintage of Seyval Blanc, located on our east side vineyards. This refreshing sparkler is crisp with notes of stone fruit and apple. Naturally sparkling and elegant enough to be served with any type of dining situation! Not fined or filtered, vegan friendly.

This dry lightly sparkling wine is full of tropical aromas and served best with friends in the sun! Produced with 100% estate grown Vignoles from our East side property. Limited production. 

Our 2019 ‘Le Petit’ Riesling is our wine for all occasions. A youthful wine with aromas of fresh cut grapefruit and mandarin. On the palate, bright flavors of white peach and lime are persistent and intense. Drink now but can age for up to 5 years.

Fruit harvested from Sunrise Hill Vineyard on the western side of Cayuga Lake. Quince, lime zest and lychee notes mingle nicely in this version, with a floral edge and spicy white pepper finish.

The fruit for our Semi-Dry Riesling has been sourced from a grower along the lower east side of Seneca Lake. This food-friendly wine is balanced medium dry to offset its natural acidity. Notes of apple and pear.
